Lash extensions are semi-permanent and are made from single strands of synthetic eyelashes that are curved/curled to replicate a natural eyelash. They provide length and thickness to your own lashes and are available in varying lengths and thickness. Each lash is applied one by one to your own natural eyelashes. Normally a person's natural eyelash falls out every 60 - 120 days and a new lash grows in. Therefore, it is necessary to get touch-ups every 2 to 3 weeks to add lashes to the new growth. Your natural lash cycle as well as how you take care of your lashes will affect how long the extensions will last. Some clients have had their extensions for over a year with regular touchups visits. There is no need for mascara. The result is thicker, longer, eye opening eyelashes that are safe in the shower, while swimming, sleeping or exercising.
The Lash Lift is the beauty equivalent of a push-up bra for your lashes—the treatment instantly gives them, lift, separation, and extra definition without the use of extensions or any harmful chemicals. Lasting 8-10 weeks, allowing you to still use mascara and growth serums!

HOW LONG WILL IT LAST? This varies from person to person, and depends on your diet & lifestyle. However, with proper maintenance & periodic touch up treatments, you can keep your smile looking great for a lifetime!
HOW LONG IS THE TREATMENT? We recommend 60 minute sessions for optimal results & to remove all the layers of staining. Treatment times are anywhere from 20-60 minutes depending on the discoloration of your teeth & how white you want them. It takes no longer than the time it would take for a hair cut or a facial! That simple!
Microblading is a semi permanent tattoo with the use of a tool that mimics hair strokes and creates a beautiful natural eyebrow.
Ombré brows are Shading of the brows with the fronts being lighter to the tails being darker with pixels instead of strokes. This technique provides a structured shape, perfect for all skin types, and great on clients with little to no hair. Brows will heal up to 30-50% lighter in color.
Combo brows are a mix of both! A combination of microblading and shading of the brows. This style gives the fluffy fronts with hair strokes and shaded tails for a more groomed appearance. Suitable for most skin types. Brows will heal up to 30-50% lighter and 10-20% smaller.
OILY SKIN : Oily skin is a not uncommon. For those of us who use eyebrow pencils or brushes, we often have to find certain products that work with our skin type. Microblading is completely safe for people with oily skin. Most people, after getting microblading done, need to make sure that the area is moisturized. In this case, those of us with oily skin don't necessarily have to be as strict about using a lotion or ointment during the healing process.
PREGNANT OR NURSING : Microblading while nursing or pregnant is generally not advised. This is because, if not properly maintained, an infection could arise which could threaten the health of your baby. Additionally, microblading while pregnant is not advised due to bodily changes that occur during and after pregnancy. The results you see immediately after the procedure may not look the same six months after you have given birth.
ALOPECIA : Alopecia is a condition in which hair falls out in patches, which sometimes come together to create bald spots. Not only does this affect the hair on your head, it can also affect the eyebrows and eyelashes. Microblading is an easy and effective way for people with alopecia to restore color, shape, and the general appearance of their eyebrows.
REDHEADS : A lot of people with red hair are curious if microblading will be able to accommodate their natural eyebrow color. Having too light of eyebrows is a common dilemma for redheads (especially with eyebrow pencils having limited color options). At Lash and Blade, we are often microblading people with red hair. We have a variety of red and orange ink that we are able to customize to match to your perfect color.
THYROID MEDICATION : Certain medications may have an impact on the results and longevity of microblading. For example, those who are taking thyroid medication during a microblading procedure have noted that it affects the color and the hold of the pigment. They will likely need more frequent touch-ups to maintain the same results. If you have any concerns due to the medication that you are taking, it is always best to consult with your doctor before moving forward with microblading.
Microblading is a wonderful beauty enhancement for people of all walks of life. If you're unsure whether microblading is for you, we are always available to answer your questions or address any concerns that you may have.
